GO AHEAD is aimed at intermediate level learners of English who plan to sit the Cambridge FCE examination after two years of study on completion of this book. It provides study material for twice a week.
Each three-page unit:

- Prepares students for all the task types encountered in the FCE Writing Paper, with special guidance on organisation, content and task analysis.
- Has special review units with a Use of English section, also offering practice in functional English.
- Contains a variety of interesting reading texts reflecting the style of the FCE Reading Paper.
These books offer teachers a choice between a slower paced course (Go Ahead) and a more challenging course (Go Ahead Plus), making it possible for students to use a coursebook at this crucial level that really meets their needs.
